Title: PostgreSQL DBA

Duration: Permanent

Location: REMOTE

Day-to-Day production operational tasks, database administration, architecture, and automation of database services & solutions.

Skills Needed:

• 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration (on prem and cloud)
• Backup and restore (pg_dump, physical backup tools) experience.
• Database performance tuning.
• Strong SQL Query tuning and development experience.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Postgres PL/pgSQL.
• Replication and failover experience
• Linux command-line operating system experience (Centos/RHEL 7/8 preferred).
• Scripting and task automation (Bash, Python, Git).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including cloud DB technologies (RDS, Aurora).
• Experience with Patroni high availability.
