Title: PostgreSQL DBA
Duration: Permanent
Location: REMOTE
Day-to-Day production operational tasks, database administration, architecture, and automation of database services & solutions.
Skills Needed:
- 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration (on prem and cloud)
- Backup and restore (pg_dump, physical backup tools) experience.
- Database performance tuning.
- Strong SQL Query tuning and development experience.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Postgres PL/pgSQL.
- Replication and failover experience
- Linux command-line operating system experience (Centos/RHEL 7/8 preferred).
- Scripting and task automation (Bash, Python, Git).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including cloud DB technologies (RDS, Aurora).
- Experience with Patroni high availability.
