Thread: [ADMIN] Replication Between heterogeneous Databases
Dear All,
We would like to know about the replication mechanism or product available & supported for replicating data between Heterogeneous systems - most preferably between Oracle -> PostgreSQL.
Regards,

Hi There
I recommend SymmetricDS, have used it for quite a few years now.
There are other products around, but this one proved to be reliable and pretty straight forward to use.
Cheers
Tony

That would not be described by the term "replication" so much as ETL. Amazon has DMS (Data Migration Services) which will do this. Obviously (from the name) it is targeted at migrating data, but it does have the ability to replicate ongoing changes (I'm looking at using this for a migration Oracle to Postgres). regards Mark On 24/03/17 00:09, Panneer Selvam wrote: > Dear All, > > We would like to know about the replication mechanism or product available > & supported for replicating data between Heterogeneous systems - most > preferably between Oracle -> PostgreSQL. > > Regards, > Panneerselvam D >
