Thread: Contact list for 8.3 release
WWW Team, Attached it the contact list, pending corrections from RCs and getting Benjamin fully set up so we can list him. Please put this at about/press/contact. Unless you can move it to /about/contact? -- --Josh Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco

Argentina's site is not working guys.... (it has not been working for a long time and I've said this several times!) Would LOVE to take this role. Let's drop the URL from the Argentina entry. > Would LOVE to take this role. Thanks Alvaro, Actually I will be presenting a SWOT analysis comparing PostgreSQL with MySQL @ FOSDEM 2008, Brussels. No. Where's he been asking? I don't seem to have the info anywhere. -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco

The data looks ok in > the database ... what am I running into? There's nothing wrong with the data that I can see. It's fine UTF-8. Are you viewing it from a terminal that's not UTF-8 by any chance? (I copied the page you sent to http://magnus-master.pgadmin.org/about/press/contact) I also noticed that this one reverted the change committed a short while back adding JD as a press contect for the US, and reordering those a bit. Was that intentional? I assume you'll send an updated version with the other corrections before I commit this? //Magnus
Magnus, > I also noticed that this one reverted the change committed a short while > back adding JD as a press contect for the US, and reordering those a bit. > Was that intentional? Yes. I talked it over with Josh. Since I'm going to be available for this release, it doesn't make sense to have a 2nd listed contact on the West Coast -- more liable to result in confusion. Josh will probably go back on at a later date, maybe Robert as well. > I assume you'll send an updated version with the other corrections before I > commit this? Yeah. Mind you, there will probably be a few more corrections before the end of the week, but we need to get something on the web page for the RCs to check. --Josh

Just no point in doing it when we *already* know about more changes :-) //Magnus
