GSoC proposals deadline

From

Date:
Hi all,

This is a reminder to all students planning to participate in Google
Summer of Code 2013 that there is now just one week left to get your
proposal in. The deadline is set in stone and it will be impossible
to get your submission in once the deadline has been reached, so
please ensure you submit your proposal before 19:00 UTC on 3rd May,
the earlier the better.

Please also read the advice to students on the PostgreSQL website when
writing your proposal:
http://www.postgresql.org/developer/summerofcodeadvice/

Thanks

Thom

Time is getting very short now, so a reminder that all proposals must
be submitted before 19:00 UTC this Friday. If the deadline is missed,
there will be nothing we can do about submissions that didn't make it,
so please do not assume that there's any flexibility available. Note
that if you have technical difficulties submitting your proposal very
close to the deadline, you may not be able to get the issue resolved
before the deadline passes, so you should submit as early as possible.

If you have further discussions to have or refinements to make to
existing proposals, you are strongly advised to do those now.

Any proposal you haven't yet discussed on the mailing lists should be
posted today in order to get useful feedback and for a better chance
of your proposal being accepted.

Finally, if you have already submitted a proposal, you should know
that you are allowed to submit up to 5 proposals, of which one will be
chosen. You are not limited to a single submission.

Regards

Thom

There are now less than 24 hours left to submit proposals. Everyone
is strongly advised to get their proposals in ASAP. There are risks
associated with leaving it until close to the deadline, such as the
site becoming slow or unresponsive due to a spike in
last-minute-submission activity. No further opportunities to submit
shall be offered after 19:00 UTC tomorrow.

Thanks, and best of luck with your proposals.

Thom

There are now approximately 10 hours remaining to get your proposals
in, and this will be the final reminder. 19:00 UTC today is the
deadline. Please ensure you submit your proposals as early today as
possible. If you miss the deadline, you will unfortunately have to
wait until next year (if you're still eligible).

Thanks
