Thread: Using libpq with Borland C++ Builder

Using libpq with Borland C++ Builder

From

Is it really so that no one knows how to compile libpq with BCB for
windows.

Would really like to make a clien app. for Pgsql with BCB, but have the
above obstacle.

I have seen the topic mentioned on this list before, but no fullfilling
solutions were provided.

I am unfortunately not that experienced in C and therefor don't have the
knowledge to translate the win32 makefile for Visual C++ into a usable one
for BCB.

Any hints?

Regard

I can suggest to try Zeos Components usable with Borland Delphi 3-6, Kylix
and C++ builder

http://www.zeoslib.org

or

http://sourceforge.net/projects/zeoslib/

Be carefull with some changes in the system tables especially pg_index for
the 7.2 release. The components are OK up to 7.1.3
