Thread: Caught up
I spent the month of August going through 1.7k emails I had saved from the previous year that required my attention. I want to thank everyone for helping me close many open items, and for tolerating my questions. Ideally I would have dealt with many of these emails earlier, but time constraints caused the delay. On a bright note, August seems to be an ideal time to catch up, and I plan on doing a similar cleaning next August, hopefully with less backlog. On a related note, I apologize that many of these items didn't make it into 9.2, though they are committed for 9.3. The good news is that most of my work was in documentation improvements and clarifications, that could be backpatched to 9.2. I did not bring this up earlier because I didn't want to distract the work of making the improvements. If anyone wants to look at backpatching some of these doc changes into 9.2, I will not object. ;-) I am attaching a partial list of doc changes that might be considered. (I need to improve my commit messages that reference earlier commits by including the old commit tag; my apologies.) No one has mentioned backpatching so perhaps these are all too minor, which is fine. Again, many thanks.
