Thread: Anyone know of a news group for mysql?
I am looking for a way of contacting mysql administrators. My company are trying to hire a good unix mysql administrator but are having difficulties so I thought it would be best to contact them directly via a ng but can't find one on my news server. Thanks for any help. Pep.
Google is currently hosting a mysql newsgroup at: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&group=mailing.database.mysql irc.freenode.net is currently hosting #mysql with about 100 listed right now. You may be able to get someone's attentionby sending a message into it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Pep [mailto:me@there.com] > Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 4:17 AM > To: pgsql-general@postgresql.org > Subject: [GENERAL] Anyone know of a news group for mysql? > > > I am looking for a way of contacting mysql administrators. > > My company are trying to hire a good unix mysql administrator but are > having difficulties so I thought it would be best to contact > them directly > via a ng but can't find one on my news server. > > Thanks for any help. > > Pep. > > > ---------------------------(end of > broadcast)--------------------------- > TIP 6: Have you searched our list archives? > > http://archives.postgresql.org >

I thought it is soooo much easier than PostgreSQL that you don't need to administer it ... and in case something goes wrong it's the applications fault anyway. Sorry, couldn't resist. > > My company are trying to hire a good unix mysql administrator but are > having difficulties so I thought it would be best to contact them directly > via a ng but can't find one on my news server. -- #======================================================================# # It's easier to get forgiveness for being wrong than for being right. # # Let's break this rule - forgive me. # #================================================== JanWieck@Yahoo.com #
