Thread: PostgreSQL v7.1BETA3 Bundled and Available ...
After almost a month since Beta1 was released, and skipping Beta2, the PostgreSQL Developers are pleased to announced Beta3 of v7.1. Due to the large number of changes made since Beta1 was released, we have included a Changelog file detailing all changes, that is viewable in the ChangeLogs subdirectory. This file is available outside of the distribution at: ftp://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/ChangeLogs/ChangeLog-7.1beta1-to-7.1beta3 Altho we anticipate at least one more beta release before full release, we would like to encourage as many people as possible to download and test out this version on their various platforms. All problems should be report to pgsql-bugs@postgresql.org ... The tar files can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/dev/.. All mirror sites should have copies of this within the next 24 hours ... Marc G. There are a few changes I have to integrate from various sources, as well as stress-testing the build, etc. Look for RPM's Sunday, possibly sooner. -- Lamar Owen WGCR Internet Radio 1 Peter 4:11

I am following the beta via CVS and like to have a working SPEC-file nonetheless. Best Regards Mirko
