Thread: Book pl/pgsql functions
Hi, I am looking for an advance book for pl/pgsql functions to dowload or to buy. Does anyone knows if it exist? Thanks Antonis
'PostgreSQL Essential Reference' is a good one and from what I've seen so far 'Practical PostgreSQL' will also be a good one. It's publication date is Nov. 15, 2001. --- Antonis Antoniou <a.antoniou@albourne.com> wrote: > Hi, > > I am looking for an advance book for pl/pgsql > functions to dowload or to > buy. The "PostgreSQL Cookbook" I maintain (which is due for an overhaul) has some 30+ examples: http://www.brasileiro.net/postgres/ One book I saw that was good with PL/pgSQL was "Beginning Databases with PostgreSQL" by Wrox Press. I was one of the technical reviewers of the book (along with Peter Eisentraut) and I quite like the book. -Roberto P.S.: No, I don't get paid to advertise the book. I just think it's a good book. -- +----| http://fslc.usu.edu USU Free Software & GNU/Linux Club |------+ Roberto Mello - Computer Science, USU - http://www.brasileiro.net http://www.sdl.usu.edu - Space Dynamics Lab, Developer "Hay que endurecerse, pero sin perder la ternura jams."
