I have been trying to find out how to install PostgreSQL, PHP and
Apache in a Windows XP environment. But i find very sparse to nil
instructions on the same. Can somebody please guide me on how to go about
intalling PostgreSQL on a Win XP machine. Alternatively, are three are any reference links where i can find the
installinstructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Postgresql to run on windows you need to install Cygwin
(www.cygwin.com). This comes with a pre-built postgresql so all you need to
do is download cygipc & run that (I can't remeber the address of hand, but
its in the archives (searchable from www.postgresql.org). Also the is a
Postgresql Readme installed to /usr/doc/postgresql/README. I believe there
is also a FAQ available on techdocs.postgresql.org if you want to build from
source.
Hope this helps,
- Stuart
