Thread: LinuxWorld Open Solutions Summit
Hello, This is the event that was spawned from the ashes of LinuxWorld Boston. I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with them. They and I both believe that this is not a show for us. Reasons: 1. It is a qualified show, e.g; you can't just pay 10k and go. You have to be accepted 2. They are only looking at 1000, qualified attendees 3. A 5x5 booth is 10k 4. The target audience is tie wearing people from the fortune 1000 list. Sincerely, Joshua D. They all use flat files anyway. -- Alvaro Herrera http://www.CommandPrompt.com/ The PostgreSQL Company - Command Prompt, Inc.

My point was, this is a show for people that only wear ties, use terms like "Action Items" and "Build a synergetic alliance of collaborative architectures to bring forth a swell of support for our homogeneous infrastructure." You wanna go? ;) Joshua D.
