Thread: Conference list needed
Folks, I'm currently drawing a budget for conference materials for the rest of 2006. This would include: CDs Brochures/flyers T-shirts Signage Can anyone who will be organizing or participating in a booth at a conference in 2006 please speak up? I need to know: Date Approx # of booth volunteers Approx # of handouts needed, or conference attendees if you don't know that Anything special you'd like for the booth. Please forward this to conference people who may not be on this list (e.g. Germany, Brazil). --Josh

Approx # of booth volunteers >= 4 Approx # of conference attendees >= 2000 (expected) In April, I tried to produce some material for FISL but didn't have enough time for it. For Conisli, PGBr planned to bring CDs, flyers and T-shirts. I'll let you informed when we have it. [1] http://www.conisli.org/ -- Euler Taveira de Oliveira http://www.timbira.com/

LWE Cologne (formerly Frankfurt) November 14 - 16, 2006 We should have enough material, but if anyone makes CDs or pins or other souvenirs, we could use them. -- Peter Eisentraut http://developer.postgresql.org/~petere/
I have pins, but they are not freebies. If you can get someone to pay for them, I'll ship out as many as you want or better yet I can give them to you in Toronto. They are a $1 a piece with over cost proceeds going back to SPI. --elein elein@varlena.com On Fri, May 26, 2006 at 11:11:56AM +0200, Peter Eisentraut wrote: > Am Donnerstag, 25. I'm willing at least to cover some portion of the costs. How much do you need? cheers Robert
Pins for the conference attendees are already paid for via the conference funds. I won't be selling them there due to tax issues. I was just offering to deliver them to petere at toronto. --elein On Fri, May 26, 2006 at 02:31:21PM -0400, Robert Bernier wrote: > Elien, > > On Friday 26 May 2006 14:19, elein wrote: > > I have pins, but they are not freebies. Lots of 'em. :P Actually, there was a very interesting idea hatched at LWE, but I'd rather not discuss it on-list at this point. I need to call you about something else anyway, so we can talk then. -- Jim C. As I told David and Euler on FISL 7.0, besides CONISLI, we can have a Latinoware in Brazil this year. Below are some links of its last editions.
