If I add a WHERE to it, it works fine ... its only when I try to do
*everyone* that it screws up:

SELECT geo_distance(location::point,'(-79.412636,43.720768)'::point)  FROM personal_data WHERE gid = 14215;
  geo_distance   
------------------337.832062731434
(1 row)
