It is not relocatable on OS X. The full prefix path seems to be used
instead. For example:

[M:bin/postgresql/bin] % otool -L pg_ctl
pg_ctl: /sw/bin/postgresql-8.1.2/lib/libpq.4.dylib (compatibility
version 4.0.0, current version 4.1.0) /usr/lib/libssl.0.9.7.dylib (compatibility version 0.9.7,
current version 0.9.7) /usr/lib/libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib (compatibility version 0.9.7,
current version 0.9.7) /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current
version 1.2.3) /usr/lib/libresolv.9.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,
current version 369.1.5) /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,
current version 88.1.2) /usr/lib/libmx.A.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current
version 92.0.0)

It would be really nice to have relative references.
