Hello,

I'm using RedHat 9 and PostgreSQL 7.3.4.
I have a table with a column of type varchar and length 250. This column
includes both English and Hebrew text values.

The following select statements work fine:
select * from table where column='English value';
select * from table where column like 'Hebrew value';

However, the following select retrieves all Hebrew values with the same
number of characters:
select * from table where column='Hebrew value';

Using the same PostgreSQL version under RedHat 7.3 works just fine.

Any help would be appreciated,
Mirela.
