I observe that the following stuff is still being left behind after
"make distclean" in doc/src/sgml/:

if I've done "make HISTORY" and "make postgres-US.pdf". None of these
files are shipped in a tarball, at least not in this directory, so
shouldn't "make distclean" remove 'em?
