Main git repo not responding?

There seem to be a few infra issues -- I can't fetch from the main git
repo, and I tried checking the -www archives to verify that nobody is
already discussing it, and I'm getting a 503, so thought I'd send an
email just to be sure.

There was an message earlier today on --general about a similar issue. I 
would point you at it but I also get for --general:

Error 503 Backend fetch failed

Backend fetch failed
Guru Meditation:

XID: 15451250

Varnish cache server

Seems there are general issues in play.

Once again, the firewall required a restart.  Regular service should be resuming soon.
