The 4th annual event called POSETTE: An Event for Postgres will happen Jun 10-12, 2025 and the Call for Speakers is now open—until Feb 9, 2025! POSETTE is a free & virtual developer event organized by the Postgres team at Microsoft. The name POSETTE stands for Postgres Open Source Ecosystem Talks Training & Education. First time & experienced speakers both welcome! Whether you’re a first-time speaker or a regular speaker at conferences, we’d love to consider your talk proposal(s) about Postgres and the rich tooling and extensions (like PostGIS, Citus, & Patroni) in the Postgres ecosystem—both open source and for Postgres in the cloud on Azure.

4 Unique Livestreams

There will be 4 unique livestreams: 2 in Americas workday timezones (PDT), and 2 in EMEA workday timezones (CEST). Each livestream will have its own keynote and set of talks—no repeats among the livestreams.

• Feb 09, 2025 – CFP closes @ 11:59 pm PST

• Feb 19, 2025 – Speakers notified

• Mar 05, 2025 – Schedule & sessions announced

• Apr 02, 2025 – Virtual Speaker Meet & Greet

• Apr 28-May 2 and May 5-9, 2025 – Pre-record all talks

• Jun 10-12, 2025 – POSETTE happens! Join the livestream virtually to chat with attendees and other speakers.

• Format: Four 6-hour livestreams at different times of day

• Length: 25 mins / talk

• Virtual & free: no travel (or funding) required

• Video recording & production: All talks will be pre-recorded by the POSETTE team at Microsoft—all speakers need is a good microphone & a decent webcam. We’ll take care of the rest—including all editing, caption QA, and caption translation.
