Thread: Documentation error
Please see this documentation page: https://www.postgresql.org/about/featurematrix/detail/392/
It states, "By default,
NULL
values are not treated as distinct entries."It should state, "By default,
NULL
values are treated as distinct entries."See this blog.
Best,
Ian

The second sentence in this page is also incorrect.
"Specifying NULLS NOT DISTINCT on unique indexes / constraints will
cause NULL values to be treated distinctly."
It really should be:
"Specifying NULLS NOT DISTINCT on unique indexes / constraints will
cause NULL values to not be treated distinctly."
Thanks
