Thread: CFM for 2022-07

Hi all,

If there's not already a manager for the upcoming (July 2022)
commitfest, I'd like to volunteer. (And if there is, I'm happy to
assist and start learning the ropes, if that would be helpful.)

Hi Ibrar,

I don't think I've seen anyone else volunteer. I'd wait for a
committer to confirm that you've got the job, though.

All: we're rapidly approaching the next CF, so if someone from the
crowd could chime in, it would probably help Ibrar prepare.

You attribute more organization to this than actually exists ;-)

Excellent. Ibrar, I'll be updating the CFM checklist [1] over the next
couple of weeks. I'll try to have sections of it touched up by the
time you're due to use them. Let me know if there's anything in
particular that is confusing or needs more explanation.

I've additionally removed references to "shame emails" for
non-reviewers; I don't think CFMs are doing that anymore and I don't
think it'd be particularly productive anyway. I've also partially
rewritten the "every 5 to 7 days" suggestions.

I still have yet to update the section "5 to 7 days before end of CF"
and onward.

Ibrar, Hamid, have the checklist rewrites been helpful so far? Are you
planning on doing an (optional!) triage, and if so, are there any
pieces in particular you'd like me to document?
