Thread: RHEL 6 and PostgreSQL 13
Hi, I'm thinking of dropping RHEL 6 support in PostgreSQL 13. RHEL 6 is too old anyway, and I'm not sure people would want to use this combination. Per https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/errata RHEL 6 will retire on 30 November 30 this year. I am willing to keep building the currently supported PostgreSQL versions until their respective EOL (so another ~5 years, and there is no need to add another year to that) This will simplify spec file a bit as well. Comments, objections? Regards, -- Devrim Gündüz Open Source Solution Architect, Red Hat Certified Engineer Twitter: @DevrimGunduz , @DevrimGunduzTR
