Erreur when testing connection

From

Hi,

I have a problem on W7 (inside  a qemu/kvm vm) with last ANSI odbc
driver (psqlodbc_11_00_0000-x86.zip) when trying  to connect to
postgresql 11 (from buster debian package).

The db has been created but is empty.

I use the test button of psqlodbc_x86 with  odbcad32 (32bits version).

Sometimes the test successes, but most of the time, I get :

(...) could not send startup packet Connection reset by peer.

Thnks for any help

This is likely to be caused by a firewall or virus scanner.

Thank you very much, I search that.

Mmm, no, it is something else : on an internal nework I have disabled
firewall  and I have no virus scanner.

And the the connection works : if I change the database name to none, it
declares "database does not exist".

Well, it is certainly a default in my WM. I have tried on another one,
and it seems fine. I do no more searching.

Thank you very much.
