Thread: postgis 2.4.3 Issue

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core) 

I installed postgresql version 9.6.

When I try to install postgis, I get these errors: 

Error: Package: postgis24_96-2.4.3-1.rhel7.x86_64 (pgdg96)
           Requires: libproj.so.12()(64bit)
Error: Package: postgis24_96-2.4.3-1.rhel7.x86_64 (pgdg96)
           Requires: proj49
Error: Package: postgis24_96-2.4.3-1.rhel7.x86_64 (pgdg96)
           Requires: geos36 >= 3.6.2 

I noticed online that multiple others were experiencing the same problem.
