Thread: Rows (estimated) - how to change displayed number format
Hi,
I recently moved from pgAdmin III to 4.
In pgAdmin III, the numbers for Rows (estimated) were in general format, whereas in pgAdmin 4 they are in shown as exponential numbers.
How can I change this to a general number format, which I prefer?
Regards

Could you provide us a screenshot of affected area
as well as from
pgAdmin3(expected output)? How can I change this to a general number format, which I prefer?RegardsCalle, Cape Town
Hi,
See attached screenshots. In pgAdmin3 the number format would stay in the "general" format no matter how large, in pgAdmin4 larger record numbers show in exponential format, (BTW, the most user-friendly format is a general format with thousand separators)
Note also that I cannot see any way to COUNT records in pgAdmin4 (and fill in that field in the properties), obviously beyond writing a tiny query for it. In pgAdmin3 you would right-click on any table and select "count".
