[ADMIN] Do backups on slave. Is it OK?

Hi.

In my setup i currently have standard streaming replication. Currently all backups are done from master.
Is it correct to schedule nightly backups only from slave, i want my master to be 24/7 accessible for clients?

Standard means synchrone, asynchrone ? Is your secondary open to
SELECT ?

You can do your backup while your primary cluster is up.
