AM Lightning Debugger

Hi!

Followed the link in the news item about the AM Lightning Debugger client.
Your site says "available soon", and there is no download. How soon is
soon? If you plan to post it right now, ignore this. But from what I can
tell, your page says it'll be released with 8.3? In that case, the news
items seems to have at least an incorrect title. And really, it should be
held back until the product actually exists, no?

(I certainly don't mind posting it then, but it promised me a download I
can't find :-P)

Hi!

I'm bouncing this of to -www, since I'm not exactly sure what our policy is
on announcing products that aren't available for public access yet.

We don't. We will approve one public (ie. not 'by invitation' or limited
download) beta announcement, and major version releases for commercial
products, provided they're not overly frequent. This may change in the
upcoming revised policy of course, but that's not being applied yet.

-1 ... If it doesn't exist, it doesn't exist. I am sure it will exist
in the future so let's promote what is probably a great product when it
actually hits.

Alternatively, release a Beta or something.

Agreed ... since when do we start promoting vaporware? :)
