Thread: Old developer page needs to redirect
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I noticed that developer.postgresql.org still resolves and brings me to a page with some old information. Can we have it redirect to the new dev page? - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 200502282150 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQFCI9iTvJuQZxSWSsgRAjf1AKCYTECwmsa2d4s0pZMqHWhxhoer0gCfQXMY YBydB8QHeWzVb2E8VZ2raiQ= =9Eir -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I meant the page here, found by going to the main page and clicking on the "developer" link: http://www.postgresql.org/developers I just assumed it was a replacement for the old page, but I could be wrong. If so, we should at least update the developer.postgresql.org page, as it mentions that 8.0.0 is in beta and that Vince runs the website. :) - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 200502282211 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQFCI911vJuQZxSWSsgRAiMaAKDQUYLcGvPCIGyU855JOWhNeNbzwQCcDUZJ WxqrgAO1EXfOuGcn2gXqSdY= =WNLo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

First though, someone needs to check that all relevant content has been copied across to the main site - got time for that Greg? :-) IIRC, most/all of the HTML has gone, but there might be a few presentations and slideshows etc. still there. Once that is done, all that should be left will be the hackers personnal pages, and cvsweb iirc - the rest of the site can be replaced with a redirect page. Regards, Dave.

Once I am done with the advocacy redirect (hopefully this week) the developer site will be at the top of my queue. -- Robert Treat Build A Brighter Lamp :: Linux Apache {middleware} PostgreSQL
