Dave,

I don't see my ftp-mirror
ftp://ftp.ru.postgresql.org/pub/unix/database/pgsql/
on
http://www.postgresql.org/download/mirrors-ftp

Also, please correct misprints in russian transaltion on
http://wwwmaster.postgresql.org/mirror/website
"Мы счтиаем, что эти зеркала расположены близко от вас:"
      ^^^^^
should be
"Мы считаем, что эти зеркала расположены близко от вас:"

You should look @
http://wwwmaster.postgresql.org/download/mirrors-ftp

The translation should be completely turned off. I did some translation
only as a proof of concept and for testing purposes, it is outdated and
may contain typos and stuff.

OK, I removed it from $GLOBALS['_LANGUAGES'] in languages.php. I take it
that's enough?

Yes, should be enough.

As Alexey say, the mirrors should be selected from wwwmaster (did you
find a link that didn't point back to there?), however your mirror
appears to be stale:

Out last recorded sync was over 24 hours ago: 2004-12-20
12:55:00.659975+00, although your content was refreshed today (obviously
after we last checked your content). Are you only syncing every 48
hours?

As it stands, I would expect it to become listed again sometime in the
early hours, GMT.

Regards, Dave.

Hmm, I don't like your script :)

-rw-r--r-- 1 megera netadm 24 Dec 22 04:05 sync_timestamp

I run rsync from cron (nightly).

Nope, that's only the translation. The mirrors don't care about
lanugages.

There were three when I looked yesterday, and yours is there as well
now. I wonder if it's a timing thing - perhaps we should display mirrors
that have synced within 36 hours to give a 12 hour leeway.

I think, so.

I just looked at it though, and it's all set to 48 hours anyway!

There is obviously no major problem though, as we have roughly the same
number of mirrors as we always did - perhaps you can keep an eye on your
for a few days; maybe the script downloaded a bad copy of sync_timestamp
or something...

Regards, Dave.
