Story: Slony 1, the successor to the eRServer replicationproject used for hosting the .org and .info domain names has entered it\'s second beta testing phase. Slony 1 has been masterminded by Jan Wieck, a member of the PostgreSQL Core Team and designer of the original PostgreSQLRServ replication system. Slony 1 is a working, advanced Master to Multi-Slave replication system that is BSD licenced, written in C, and works withPostgreSQL 7.3 and 7.4.
