But... Wouldn't it be better to force people to submit the events/news in
English; as well as with their native languages? It's not just for us;
it's for all people visiting the site.

What will we do with the translatable site? Not approve it until we have
every translation? Or just assume everyone speaks English. I think we
could argue this one either way. My feelings are the as you cannot read
it it's not relevant to you anyway, if you can, it might be.

IMHO, www.PostgreSQL.org will get more hit than
(lang_name).PostgreSQL.org. I'm not sure that translators will be able to
translate the news/events as soon as they are submitted; so
www.PostgreSQL.org will be the most up-to-date site among all of them.
Also I'm not sure that we'll be able to translate our site into all
languages.

I just want 'summary' in English, to help all the people understand what's
going on all over the world.

I don't think he meant english only, I think he meant mandatory english
summary along with other languages if desired.
