PostgreSQL 8.0.0 on SuSE 9 platform questions...

    We are thinking about moving up from the PostgreSQL 7.4.2 shipped with SuSE 9 to PostgreSQL 8.0.0. Does PostgreSQL 8.0.0, after ./configure is done, runs as native 64-Bit application or as the old 32-Bit application? Thanks for the help.
