Is PostgreSQL supported on OpenVMS?

Hi,
I'm currently looking at PostgreSQL for a project that is starting soon. I
need a database to run on an OpenVMS operating system. Could you tell me if
this is possible with PostgreSQL?

With kind regards,

I know it has been tried, and worked for someone a few years ago. I
think there was an issue with the assembler spinlock code, but it may
work fine. I think the older person was trying on VAX while I assume you
are on an alpha. Please give it a try and report back.
