hello !

i've some success since the last time.

i've compiled and make the initdb, ./bahrc... ,...

But the server don't run , with the posmaster command i've this error :

C:\Cygwin\usr\local\pgsq\bin\posmaster.exe:
***recreate_mmaps_after_fork_failed
Startup faiked - abort

I  had problem with cygwin for the server user (postrgesql) when i try the
MOUNT "C:\cygwin\" "/" or without quotes, or with
mount --change-cygdrive-prefix /

my MOUNT :

C:\cygwin\bin usr/bin system binmode
C:\cygwin\lib usr/lib system binmode
C:\cygwin / system binmode
c:\cygwin / user textmode

it's this variable who falls down the startup ?

I get postmaster -i to run but have to source /.bashrc for the
environmentals like PGDATA. I'm sure .bashrc belongs in another directory
but where?
