Documentation - Running Postgresql on NT

Good People!

I've written up my notes on how to get the latest
Postgresql NT binaries running on the latest Net Cygwin.

You can find this document at:

I've posted it in the hope some of you may find
it useful.  I welcome any constructive criticism
or corrections.

I don't know much about win2000 and have not
tried it.  On the Cygwin list I remember reading
success stories of running Net Cygwin on top of
win2000.  It shouldn't take that long to find out.
Maybe you could try and let us know?

Probably not.

I've received information that the Cygipc package required for
Postgresql to run on NT doesn't work on Win2000.  You can see the
July 2000 Cygwin archive for details.  Basically, it doesn't look
like Cygipc is currently being maintained.  Thanks to those
of you listening who pointed that out.
