Hi There, This has been covered many times on this list. Additionally, there is a section in the manual: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/view.php?version=7.3&file=install-win32.html Basically, you need to install cygwin (http://www.cygwin.com). PostgreSQL availible as a standard cygwin package. Matthew. While the standard way of doing this involves setting up cygwin and jumping through all those hoops, there's a beta of 7.3.1 for windows available that's described at: http://techdocs.postgresql.org/guides/InstallingOnWindows and it doesn't need cygwin, and appears to be faster than the cygwin method as well. It is still a beta, so test thoroughly before any deployments.
