Thread: FW: Request to install psqlODBC Driver
Our office has installed the drivers on Ms. Poudel’s computer (see the email below), but she is unable to use the application. Clicking the shortcut gives her an error which she can bypass and view the application screen, but anytime you click a button on the menu screen she gets an ODBC error. It appears to be pointing to a database that is offsite. Our office also has an internal GWPermit database access.
How can we go about fixing the access for Ms. Poudel?

I am submitting this request to OIS to install the psqlODBC driver software on the listed user machine by location:
Sujata.Poudel@deq.virginia.gov – Central Office
A PostgresqlODBC download is necessary and already available. The latest driver can be found here http://www.postgresql.org/ftp/odbc/versions/msi/
The download is needed for user access to an integrated groundwater modeling system. Thanks for your assistance.

What are the contents of the error messages, the one she bypasses and the ODBC error? Is it supposed to point to a remote database? You mention the internal access, is that working with the Postgres ODBC driver? > > How can we go about fixing the access for Ms. Poudel? > > Please Reply All to this message. > > ** > > *Sharyl Freedlander* > > IT Help Desk Analyst/Security > Department of Environmental Quality > Phone (804) 698-4531 > -- Adrian Klaver adrian.klaver@aklaver.com
