Thread: still no luck with excel

Trying to New Database Query/Import data into excel is crashing excel (I
used to get error msg).  I checked log and am getting no useful info :(.

CVS-tip is working fine for mewhen using g'get external data' - can you
supply more details on what you are doing, and what sw versions you are
running please?

FWIW, Import Data complains that it couldn't get a list of tables, but
then it does that for the old driver as well :-(

I am also trying to get crashes adding a new dsn from admin tools or
configuring an existing one (!).

false alarm.  I did make clean (del . from release folder), rebuild, and
everything is cool.

Also, table list is working fine, I have multiple tables in several
different schemas even, (and schema filter works fine).
