Thread: connx odbc driver
Any one use this?
It’s a bit costly but we have to do something to get our system stable we are losing clients.
I even suggested (god forbid) shelling out the 70k and going back to MSSQL.
My boss said no way, but we have lost a few clients and several more are ready to jump ship.
I have 2 windows 2k IIS servers running the 7.4 version of ODBC and get errors.
I read the email from Marko Ristola [marko.ristola@kolumbus.fi] and need to take more time to analyze if any of his ideas might help.
I did turn on pooling with a 10 second timeout.
I do not see the server having a memory issue (it crashed today with 550meg used out of 2 gig available to IIS) Machine has 4 gig memory.
I do plan on converting from SQLASCII to UNICODE in a few weeks (my boss wants me to test all the apps before implementing) and will try the newer drivers when we are unicode.
