SQL_BIT and bit question

Hi,

I am trying to use a column with type bit and I get a type of SQL_CHAR if I call
SQLDescribeCol. Is this correct ?

If I call it for a type of int or integer, I get back SQL_INTEGER.

How and what datatypes can I use to have similar semantics to bit ?

Thanks

Lothar

What happens if you uncheck the "Bools as char" in the "Data options" section of page 1 of the datasources settings (I
cannotcheck what it does because I have no database with a SQL_BIT column)?
