Hi all,
I'm trying ot set up a server with ODBC-support, but fails to connect to
it.
I've installed from source (PostgreSQL 7.3.1) and the iODBC Driver
Manager & Administrator SOURCE Release V3.0.6 + psqlODBC 07.02.0005.
The server is started as
/usr/local/pgsql/bin/postmaster -i -D /usr/local/pgsql/data
When testing the connetion to the server, I get:
$ odbctest test
QObject::connect: No such slot OdbcTest::manage_test()
QObject::connect: (sender name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: (receiver name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: No such slot OdbcTest::manage_auto_test()
QObject::connect: (sender name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: (receiver name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: No such slot OdbcTest::manage_test_groups()
QObject::connect: (sender name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: (receiver name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: No such slot OdbcTest::run_auto_tests()
QObject::connect: (sender name: 'unnamed')
QObject::connect: (receiver name: 'unnamed')
My .odbc.ini contains:
[test]
Driver = /usr/local/lib/psqlodbc.so
DSN = test
SERVER = localhost
USER = <something>
PASSWORD = <something>
DATABASE = test
PORT = 5432
Connecting with psql works.
Greatfull for all help I can get!
/Fredrik
