Thread: how to get odbc on postgresql 7.1
Hello,
I just installed postgresql7.1 from the rpm I do not want to use 7.1.1 nor 7.1.2 for now, but I need to get odbc to run with postgresql7.1, can somebody tell me what exactly I should do after installing to work odbc? note that I added -i to postmaster and the proper entries in pg_hba but to no use. note that the same system had postgresql7.0.3 on it and was working well with odbc before?!?
thanks,
Rony.
I have linux redhat 7.1, but let me refrase my question, If I install from rpm including postgresql-odbc rpm does that entitle me to have odbc installed and runing with the installation? or is it customary to install srpms and configure, make, make install, etc ... ?!?
