Thread: psql doesn't see externally created db
I have a DB created through my client program (the create script is ran upon installation) on linux server (Ubuntu) running PG 8.2.4 when I try to perform any action like running a script via psql I get database "TEST" doesn't exist. pgAdmin sees everything correctly and allows me to run scripts and perform sql statements. Wher can I seek for the source of this? The client app is ran on Windows. -- Łukasz Brodziak "What if everyting around You isn't quite as it seems, What if all the world You think You know is an inelaborate dream When You look at Your reflection is that all you want it to be What if You could look right through the cracks Would You find Yourself...... I would first check for upper/lowercase mix, also make sure that that the databse name, if send between double quotes matches exactly the case of the original db name.
If all lowercase no double quotes needed, if uppercase or mix then you must use double quotes
