Function variable assignment question

Hi !
 
Is there a difference between these 2 statements (inside a function) :
 
    v_out_return = 0;
    v_out_return := 0;
 
Seems both is working fine, so I'm just puzzled if it makes any difference in use.

No difference, it is the same.
