To download the source code for PostgreSQL 7.3.2, visit:
ftp://ftp.us.postgresql.org/v7.3.2
(you can also pick a different mirror by going to
http://www.postgresql.org/mirrors-ftp.html
)
You will want the "base" file. Once you have it and have untarred it,
follow the directions in the INSTALL file in the newly created directory
to install Postgres. There should be a 'contrib' directory in there as well:
this is where the uniqueidentifier package goes. Then just follow the
directions inside of the README.uniqueidentifier file.
If that is not clear, or you still have problems, feel free to ask.
