I have several postgres installations
one under windowsXP, cygwin, everything works fine, also the umlaute
no I installed it together with redhat 8.0 (did not config anything)
and there the umlaute do not work, where do I have to config, that the
umlaute will work?
is this a redhat (I only have installed the english language) or a
psotgres issue?

and if its a redhat issue, does anyone know how to add a language to the
system after installation?
