createdb problem...

From

When I try to create a db I get the message, there
has been an error loading the shared library
libpq.so.2.1, no such file or directory. I checked
in the lib directory and the file is there. Must
have something wrong with my install, can someone
help?

You have to tell your operating system where to find it. In Linux the
command to do this permanently is ldconfig (check its man page).

You can also set and export LD_LIBRARY_PATH befor trying to run the program.
