I just downloaded the source files for PgSQL 7.0.3 which consist of five files which order do I install them in?
Here's the files I downloaded
postgresql-7.0.3
postgresql-7.0.3.base
postgresql-7.0.3.docs
postgresql-7.0.3.support
postgresql-7.0.3.tar

Let RPM decide :-)

$ rpm postgresql* will call RPM with all these files, and RPM will do
its dependency thing, and usually (in my observation) do the right
thing.

Oops! Sorry, I missed that in your message.

postgresql-7.03 (the one w/o -base, -docs, etc.) has everything in
it. Install just that and go to it.
