I own a small staffing firm here in Austin and we have a client that is near downtown Austin. They are a successful startup that is doing well financially and they are looking for a Sr. Database Engineer/Administrator. I have put some notes below for detail. Demonstrated experience (5+ years) and expertise in developing database applications
Experience in PostgreSQL
Expertise in data modeling with ability to convert complex requirements into efficient data structures
Ability to create a database from the ground up.
Conduct design and code walkthroughs, peer reviews, and produce technical documentation
Deliver data modeling, schema design, and queries.
Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability.
Hands on experience developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
