Looking for highly experienced PostgresQl DB master for high-traffic consumer directory/search application

The senior postgresql DB team member will be responsible for :

- Overall Db structural integrity/design
- Performance testing & optimization
- Weekly data I/O, XML inserts/diffs/updates
- On-going optimization
- Best practices implementation
- Redundancy plan

i think it would be helpful if job postings had locations specified. i can
guess that this is the san francisco from the 415 area code, but for
some larger companies this sort of detective work is unreliable, and
not all of us will think to google "area code 415".

Of course, you could go to gofish.com and learn of the company
location(s), too. Or on the other hand, the fact that no location is
specified in the notice could be taken to mean they don't care about
location -- so you can work from home via ssh!!
